FAUZIA MUHAMMAD ANNOUNCES END OF MARRIAGE, ALLEGES ABUSE BY HUSBAND

Abuja-based content creator and entrepreneur, Fauzia Muhammad, popularly known as Fauzahxo, has announced the end of her marriage to Danilo Popovski, alleging that she endured physical abuse, substance use, betrayal and threats during the relationship.
In a detailed statement shared on social media on Friday, Fauzah said she had consistently portrayed an image of a happy and loving family online but had decided to speak publicly about the challenges she allegedly faced privately.
She said the decision to end the marriage followed what she described as a difficult period marked by several troubling experiences and repeated efforts to preserve the relationship.
“My husband and I are no longer together, and I feel like it’s finally time to be honest about what I’ve been going through,” she wrote.
“There’s been drug use, violence, betrayal, threats, fear, and countless attempts to keep our family together.”
According to Fauzah, the problems intensified after the birth of their daughter. She alleged that Popovski became emotionally distant, stopped being intimate with her and developed a drug problem.
She further accused him of having an affair with a woman she had personally welcomed into her home and social circle.
Fauzah alleged that when she confronted her husband about the situation, he became violent. She recounted one incident in which she said he returned home under the influence of drugs, attempted to wake their newborn roughly and became aggressive when she intervened.
She said the incident prompted her to leave the home with their daughter for safety.
Fauzah also shared what she described as a video of Popovski verbally abusing her. In the footage, which has circulated widely online, he is heard asserting dominance and referring to himself as her “king”, while claiming to have control over her, particularly when they were in Nigeria.
In subsequent updates, Fauzah identified the woman she accused of having an affair with her husband as Sara Audu.
She alleged that Audu initially approached her as a fan before gaining access to her social circle and eventually becoming friends with her and her sister.
According to Fauzah, she welcomed Audu into her home and events before allegedly discovering that she was involved with Popovski.
Fauzah also shared a video of a conversation in which she claimed Audu confessed to having sex with Popovski.
Meanwhile, older videos and posts in which Fauzah discussed interracial relationships have resurfaced online.
In some of her videos, Fauzah discussed relationships between Black women and white men, offering insights into navigating interracial marriages while sharing personal experiences from her relationship with Popovski.
She had previously revealed that she met Popovski on Tinder, while also noting that her sister was in a relationship with a Balkan man.
Following her recent allegations, several of her earlier videos discussing interracial relationships, marriage and family life have resurfaced and are now being widely circulated and debated across social media.
