“Fifty The Series” Season 2 gets premiere date on EbonyLife TV
“Fifty The Series” is a small screen adaptation of the movie “Fifty,” starring Omoni Oboli, Dakore Akande, Ireti Doyle and Keira Hewatch.
The second season of “Fifty The Series,” a small screen adaptation of EbonyLife’s 2015 movie of the same title, has a premiere date.
The network has set February 1, 2018, as the official return date of the series which ended its first season on October 19, 2017.
“Fifty The Series” continues the story of the lives of four women – Tola, Maria, Elizabeth and Kate – approaching the age of 50.
The first season saw Omoni Oboli, Ireti Doyle, Dakore Akande, Uzor Osimkpa, Timini Egbuson, Wale Ojo and Kachi Nnochiri reprise their roles from the movie.

Keira Hewatch also joined the cast, replacing Nse Ikpe Etim, who had starred in the original movie as Kate.
Other new additions were Chris Attoh, Linda Osifo, Palesa Setlhare and Hakeem Kae-Kazim.
The first season of ‘Fifty The Series’ was directed by Akin Omotoso.
EbonyLife TV recently concluded the second season of its critically acclaimed TV series, “Sons of the Caliphate.”
Later this year, the network will premiere “Castle and Castle,” a legal drama series featuring Dakore Akande, Richard Mofe Damijo, Blossom Chukwujekwu among others.
The movie “Fifty” grossed 90 million at the Nigerian box office.
EbonyLife TV is yet to confirm the returning cast members for “Fifty The Series” season two.
