According to the report, the attacks occurred on Wednesday and Thursday when gunmen invaded the farming areas and whisked away an unspecified number of victims.

The exact number of those abducted has yet to be determined, while their whereabouts and condition remain unknown.

Residents said the recurring attacks have deepened fears among local communities, with many expressing concerns about their safety while working on their farms.

The latest abductions have further heightened security concerns in parts of Kebbi State despite ongoing efforts by security agencies to combat banditry and other forms of criminality.

The incidents have also renewed concerns over the safety of farmers in rural areas and the possible impact of insecurity on agricultural productivity and food security.

Community members have called on security agencies and government authorities to take urgent action to rescue the abducted farmers, prevent further attacks and improve security across vulnerable communities in the state.

Danko-Wasagu Local Government Area has experienced repeated attacks by armed groups in recent years, leaving many residents living under the constant threat of violence and abduction.
