IGP APPOINTS CSP ALIYU AS FORCE NEW MEDIA OFFICER

The head of the police, Inspector-General of Police Olatunji Rilwan Disu, has given the go–ahead for CSP Ali Giwa to take on the role of Force New Media Officer, according to a statement from the Nigeria Police Force on Friday.
CSP Giwa will be in charge of managing the Force’s digital communications and improving public interaction through online platforms. His appointment is part of the IGP’s work to update police communication and increase openness with the public.
This follows recent changes in the Force’s public relations team, including the appointment of DCP Anthony Okon Placid as Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO).
