INMATE KILLS WIFE DURING PRISON VISIT IN GERMANY

Prosecutors said Friday that an inmate in an eastern German prison killed his wife as she was paying him a visit.
The Burg prison in Magdeburg, west of Berlin, is where the Thursday event took place.
According to reports, the 37-year-old prisoner and his 35-year-old spouse were by themselves in a chamber designated for long-term inmate visitors.
After the woman was later discovered dead, prosecutors looked into the matter on suspicion of homicide.
