Galatasaray have submitted an improved bid to Napoli for Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen, just hours after their initial €70 million offer was turned down.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the Turkish club returned on Friday with a new proposal totaling €75 million — matching Napoli’s valuation.
The revised offer consists of a €40 million upfront payment and €35 million in instalments, again backed by bank guarantees.
“Galatasaray submit new proposal to Napoli for Victor Osimhen after €70m rejected. The Turkish club now offers €75m with €40m immediate payment and €35m in installments, with bank guarantees as key point again,” Romano reported.
The decision now rests with Napoli, who had earlier turned down Galatasaray’s opening offer despite attached payment assurances.
According to Romano’s earlier update, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis declined the €70 million proposal, holding firm on his demand for a guaranteed €75 million for the forward.
“Understand Napoli have now rejected new formal proposal sent by Galatasaray today for Victor Osimhen,” Romano wrote. “Galatasaray offered €70m today with bank documents attached for payment guarantees… Napoli president De Laurentiis wants €75m guaranteed and he has rejected.”
Osimhen, who has played a pivotal role in Napoli’s previous domestic and European campaigns, remains a highly sought-after talent in the transfer market.
