JUST IN: SENATE CONFIRMS 64 CAREER, NON-CAREER AMBASSADORIAL NOMINEES

The Senate has approved all 64 nominees for both career and non–career ambassador roles after reviewing a report from the Committee on Foreign Affairs.
The confirmation happened after the committee, led by Senator Sani Bello, shared its report and the recommendations were agreed upon.
But during the meeting, Senator Sahabi Yau pointed out a problem.
He noticed that there was no person from Zamfara State listed as a nominee.
He asked that the President be told about this missing name.
In response, the Senate President acknowledged the concern, explaining that the current list was not exhaustive.
He assured lawmakers that he would raise the matter with the President. He further affirms that additional ambassadorial nominations are expected and that Zamfara State would not be excluded.
