NIGERIANS REACT AS YUL EDOCHIE CELEBRATES LIZZY GOLD AMID ROMANCE RUMOURS

Nigerians have continued to react after Nollywood actor Yul Edochie publicly celebrated actress Lizzy Gold on her birthday amid ongoing rumours of a possible romantic relationship between them.
The media reports that speculation about Yul’s alleged separation from his baby mama, Judy Austin, and a possible relationship with Lizzy Gold emerged on social media a few months ago.
The rumours gained further attention following the release of their romance film, My Star, which featured a passionate kissing scene between the two actors.
In a birthday post shared on his Instagram page, Yul described Lizzy as a “Ghen Ghen Queen” and a hardworking woman with a good heart.
“Happy birthday to a very hardworking woman, a go-getter with a good heart, @lizzygoldofficial.
“The Ghen Ghen Queen. Wishing you many more successful years. May God lead you always,” he wrote.
Responding to the post, Lizzy thanked the actor, writing, “Thanks Odogwu I appreciate.”
Her close associate and fellow actress, Destiny Etiko, also reacted to the birthday message with a prayer, writing, “Amen.”
Yul’s public celebration of Lizzy comes amid continued discussions about his complicated marital history, including his separation from his first wife, May Edochie, and reported tensions surrounding his relationship with Judy Austin.
Several social media users interpreted the birthday message as further fuel for the speculation linking Yul and Lizzy, with some jokingly referring to the actress as his future wife.
One user, Amakah_of_the_good_life, wrote, “Yes ooooh. Happy birthday to our incoming wifey.”
Another commenter, Eenyichiciii1, wrote, “Happy birthday verified real ijele odowgu Mrs Lizzy gold yuledochie.”
Onyinyegod1 commented, “Hardworking, go getter with good heart,” suggesting that the description was a subtle reference to another person.
Similarly, Mara_zzainab described Lizzy as “Real Ijele Mrs Lizzy gold yul edochies,” while another user, Kuziemugadya, urged the actor to marry her, writing, “Marry her and we will forgive you.”
Other commenters celebrated Lizzy and praised the apparent chemistry between the actors, while some continued to speculate about the possibility of a relationship.
However, neither Yul Edochie nor Lizzy Gold has publicly confirmed the romantic rumours.
