Nollywood actress and influencer Nimmy Ferrari has reportedly died following an alleged fibroid operation, days before she was expected to hold the housewarming ceremony for her newly completed home in Sagamu, Ogun State.
The actress’s reported death was announced by some of her colleagues on social media, sparking an outpouring of grief among fans and members of the entertainment industry.
One of her colleagues disclosed on Snapchat that Nimmy had been preparing to officially open her newly completed house and host a housewarming ceremony before her sudden death.
Tributes have since poured in for the actress, with colleagues describing her as a hardworking entertainer who had been building a name for herself and gaining recognition in the movie industry.
The development has also drawn attention to the timing of her death, as Nimmy had reportedly paid tribute to veteran actor Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, following his death, only to reportedly pass away shortly afterwards.
Social media reports further claimed that Nimmy was laid to rest at the same newly completed residence in Sagamu where she had been preparing to host her housewarming ceremony.
The circumstances surrounding her reported death have not been independently confirmed, while details of the alleged medical procedure remain unclear.
