OMOTOLA JALADE-EKEINDE CELEBRATES DAUGHTER MERIAH’S ENGAGEMENT

Veteran Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, has celebrated the engagement of her daughter, Meriah Ekeinde, popularly known as Meraiah or Mimi.
Omotola shared a video from the engagement ceremony on her Instagram page, @realomosexy, on Saturday, expressing excitement over the new milestone in her daughter’s life.
“Have you heard? My twinnie is engaged! I guess we have a wedding to plan! Congratulations to the lovebirds,” the actress wrote alongside the video.
The 26-year-old apparel product developer had announced her engagement two days earlier in an Instagram post captioned “New chapter.”
Meriah is one of four children of Omotola and her husband, Captain Matthew Ekeinde, a pilot. The couple, who married in 1996, also have Princess, Matthew, popularly known as MJ or Captain E, and Michael.
The engagement announcement attracted congratulatory messages from fans and followers, who celebrated the family over the new development.
Omotola, a recipient of the Member of the Order of the Federal Republic (MFR) honour, has over the years shared moments from her family life with her followers.
The engagement marks another major milestone for the actress’s family as preparations for a wedding begin.
