ONE KILLED, 13 INJURED IN KEBBI ROAD CRASH

The accident occurred near Yauri as the students were returning to Sokoto from Ilorin, Kwara State.
One person has perished and 13 others have been injured in an automobile collision on the Yauri–Birnin Kebbi roadway in Kebbi State.
The automobile was transporting scholars from Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS). The incident that occurred on Wednesday led to the demise of their operator and injuries to all occupants.

According to witnesses, the incident took place close to Yauri while the students were heading back to Sokoto from Ilorin, Kwara State.
The driver allegedly perished at the location, whereas the students incurred differing levels of injuries and were promptly admitted to the hospital.
Eight of the students are reported to have experienced bone fractures, and five are presently undergoing treatment at the Usmanu Danfodiyo University Teaching Hospital in Sokoto.
