PHYNA, NKECHI BLESSING SET FOR CELEBRITY BOXING CLASH ON OCTOBER 1

Reality TV star Josephina Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, and actress Nkechi Blessing are set to square off in a celebrity boxing bout scheduled for October 1, 2026.
The contest, tagged “Phyna vs Nkechi,” will take place at the Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos as part of the “Chaos in the Ring” series organised by Balmoral Group Promotions.
Balmoral Group Promotions and DAZN Boxing announced the bout on Friday, confirming that the event will be broadcast live on DAZN and SuperSport.

The fight, powered by Bet9ja, is the latest celebrity boxing contest under the series, which has previously featured entertainers such as Portable, Charles Okocha, Speed Darlington and Carter Efe.
Promotional materials released by the organisers showed Phyna and Nkechi dressed in boxing gear ahead of the October 1 showdown.
The organisers are yet to announce details of the undercard and ticketing arrangements.
