PLATEAU UNITED RULE OUT FOUR PLAYERS AHEAD OF KANO PILLARS CLASH

By: Muftau Fatimo
Plateau United will be without four players for their Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Matchday Eight encounter against Kano Pillars on Sunday.
The players unavailable for selection are Monami Vongsuou, ThankGod Chinemeze, Seiyefa Jackson and Utim Ikowem.
Vongsuou and Chinemeze have been sidelined with knee injuries, while Jackson is recovering from a rib fracture.
Ikowem is also set to miss the encounter after sustaining an ankle sprain.
The quartet will continue their rehabilitation as the Peace Boys intensify preparations for Sunday’s clash at the New Jos Stadium.
The injury setback comes at a crucial stage for Plateau United, who will be seeking to take advantage of their home support to secure all three points against Kano Pillars.
The absences are expected to pose a selection challenge for the club’s technical adviser, Gbenga Ogunbote, who may be forced to reshuffle his squad ahead of the encounter.
Plateau United will now look to other available players to deliver a strong performance and maintain their momentum in the NPFL.
