According to the report, the breakthrough came when security forces launched an operation around the Bukuyum and Anka axis, areas that have witnessed repeated bandit attacks in recent months.

The chaos created by the confrontation enabled the victim and another captive to escape from their abductors.
Both individuals were said to have successfully regained their freedom and are currently safe.
Security sources also confirmed that efforts are underway to reunite the rescued victim with his family, while the Dansadau Divisional Police Officer has been contacted to assist in locating their relatives.
