REACTIONS TRAIL SUPEREAGLES LOSS TO ALGERIA: ‘WE DIDN’T PLAY LIKE WE WANTED TO WIN’ PRAISE FOWOWE

Read Time:1 Minute, 37 Second

Following the Super Eagles loss to the Algerians counterparts in the semifinals of the AFCON2019, Nigerians have begun to show their dissatisfaction.

Below is one culled from Public Speaker and Relationship Coach, Praise Fowowe’s wall:

‘Final word on Super Eagles

Blame the coaching crew if you have to blame anyone. For years Akeyi and Ezenwa were number 2 and 3 even when they were being benched in their respective clubs
There was a time Ezenwa was being benched by a home based keeper in his team yet he was making the national team.

Since we lost Carl we had enough time to find another keeper yet we settled for Uzohor and kept these two guys. Akpeyis final match for Nigeria should have been his howler against Argentina during the friendlies yet we kept him .

How do you take 3 non first choice keepers to a tournament when there are over 18 top class keepers manning goals for all the professional teams.

Where is Theophilus Afelokhai?

Just like Agbim kept making our national team for years without adding any value is the same way we kept Akpeyi and Ezenwa

This should tell us that form is not enough to make the Super Eagles it’s sometimes about keeping up with the Joneses I hope NFF acts now by sourcing for a proactive tactician who knows the best form.of defense is attack.

Rohr has done well but going forward this team needs someone who wants to win every match with the best resources available.

We were not unlucky we were beaten hands down as there was no discernable formation. We have always defeated North Africans by slowing down the game and annoying them that we didn’t do today.

We need goal keepers and leaders in this team

We have tried and I pray those that promised money can channel it to facility development across the country.

Well done boys

Over to NFF and Amaju.’
