Veteran Nollywood actor Pete Edochie has claimed that he played a key role in the victories of six Nigerian politicians in the 2023 general elections.
The film veteran revealed that six politicians who visited him to seek his blessings—bringing gifts of rams and kolanuts—went on to win their elections after he prayed for them.
Edochie made the disclosure while receiving popular streamer Peller during a courtesy visit to his residence in Enugu.
“Two years ago, six individuals running for political office came to my home. They brought a ram and kolanuts, I prayed for them, and they all won their elections,” Edochie said.
The actor expressed gratitude to God, noting, “Whenever I make a request from God, He always grants it.”
He added, “Everyone I have prayed for has succeeded in all that I prayed for on their behalf.”
Edochie also offered a prayer for Peller, wishing him success in his career.
In response, Peller thanked the veteran actor for the warm reception and his encouraging words.
