SUPER EAGLES FLY TO THE TOP AS THEY DRAW CLOSER TO AFCON WITH A 3-2 AWAY WIN AGAINST LIBYA

The Nigeria national team, the Super Eagles has jumped to top spot of group E after edging past their Libyan counterparts in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers tonight by 3 goals to 2, in shame played in Tunisia.
The Eagles who scored two early goals 17 minutes into the game by Ahmed Musa and Odion Ighalo and then threw away their lead when the Libyans equalised in the second half, got a late winner, scored by the inform Ighalo.
This means the Super Eagles thrashed the Mediterranean Knights 7-2 over two legs after defeating them in the first leg played fortnight ago invUyo, Nigeria.
The win Nigeria on Tuesday has therefore taken the Super Eagles much closer to a place at the 2019 AFCON finals to be staged in Cameroon especially after Seychelles held South Africa to barren earlier in the day in Victoria.
Nigeria sits top of the table with 9 points, dropping the banana bafana team to second place with 8 points.
As it stands, Nigeria needs just one point to secure their place in AFCON.
