THREE DEAD AS BANDITS ATTACK ZAMFARA VILLAGE

The Zurmi Local Government Area headquarters in Dauran, Zamfara State, has been attacked by bandits, resulting in the deaths of three people and the kidnapping of an unknown number of others.
In addition to destroying the town’s MTN service mast, the thieves’ Wednesday night attack also caused the local network to go down.
Yazid Abubakar, the spokesperson for the Zamfara State Police Command, confirmed the attack over the phone with Channels Television on Thursday morning.
He stated that the incident claimed the lives of three people, but just one person was taken hostage.
