TINUBU DEPARTS ABUJA FOR THREE-WEEK ANNUAL LEAVE IN EUROPE

President Bola Tinubu will depart Abuja on Sunday for Europe to begin a three-week annual leave, with London, United Kingdom, as his first destination.
This was disclosed in a statement issued on Sunday by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
According to Onanuga, the President’s trip is part of his annual vacation and he is expected to return to Nigeria at the end of the three-week break.
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will depart Abuja today for Europe to begin a three-week vacation as part of his annual leave. His first stop will be London, United Kingdom,” the statement said.
The presidential aide added that Tinubu would return to the country immediately after the vacation to participate in preparations for the January 2027 general election.
“President Tinubu is expected to return home after the working vacation to join the hectic campaign for the January 2027 election,” Onanuga said.
The President’s departure comes amid increasing political activities across the country, with political parties and prospective candidates intensifying preparations ahead of the 2027 elections.
The Presidency, however, did not provide details of Tinubu’s itinerary in London or indicate whether he would visit other European destinations during the vacation.
