TWO STUDENTS DEAD, OTHERS INJURED IN BORNO TRAILER ACCIDENT

An accident between a school bus and a caravan on Wednesday claimed the lives of two Borno State University students.
Fifteen more pupils are undergoing medical treatment, and three more were seriously hurt.
Thirty students were in the Borno State University school bus when a travelling caravan crashed into it, instantly killing two of them and badly injuring three others. Ten pupils were unharmed.
The students were taken to Umaru Shehu Hospital and the UMTH, where they are still undergoing treatment, according to a statement released by the university’s spokesperson, Umar Garkuwa.
According to Garkuwa, the dean of student affairs and vice chancellor of the university are rushing to the hospitals to guarantee a timely reaction.
