Daniel Bwala, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Public Communication, has said that the president is not sidetracked by talks of the 2027 succession and is instead focused on keeping his promises to Nigerians.
President Tinubu’s initiatives, Bwala emphasized, are focused on tackling the issues that Nigerians face, like reducing hunger and promoting an agricultural revolution.
They will be prepared when the moment for politics arrives, he said, but it hasn’t arrived yet.
Speaking to reporters at the national secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Wednesday, he made this claim.
“Well, for now, Mr President is focused on governance, delivering on the mandate and the promises to the Nigerian people, and he has refused to be distracted by political talk ahead of 2027.
“He is very focused on issues that concern the Nigerian people, to make sure that people come out of hunger, to make sure that agriculture brings about the expected revolution, and to make sure that our people are able to deal with their everyday problems,” he stated.
