NDIDI RULED OUT OF ENGLAND MATCH, YET TO RESUME FULL TRAINING
Wilfred Ndidi is all but ruled out of the upcoming friendly between
England and Nigeria as he has not been given the green light to resume
full training by the medical team.
The Leicester City midfielder had an individual training session for
the sixth time since the national team began their World Cup
preparations despite taking part in the jogging and stretching
exercises at The Hive, Barnet Stadium on Thursday evening.
This means that Rohr might omit Ndidi from the team to face the Three
Lions for the simple reason that he will be lacking match fitness,
with the Super Eagles having their final training session on Friday
evening.
Chelsea star Victor Moses was among the 24 players that took part in
full training and came through the practice session unscathed and is
in line to figure against England.
Benfica newbie Tyronne Ebuehi has recovered from cramps he suffered
against Democratic Republic of Congo and should be available for
selection on Saturday, he took part in full training today.
Injured Gent winger Moses Simon was not involved in the training
session as he went for a scan very close to the Hive Stadium.
