The Nigeria Police says the Senate President Bukola Saraki still has a case to answer. The police had on Tuesday withdrawn the invitation sent to him and asked the Senate President to respond to police questions in writing.

At the latest briefing by the police on Wednesday, force spokesman Moshood Jimoh said new revelations showed that the senate president still has questions to answer in connection with the Offa bank robbery.

The police brought the suspects again to testify before journalists new revelations in the bank operation in which the Senate President Bukola Saraki has been linked. The police said it will do everything required by law to ensure that proper investigation is done in the case and every one culpable brought to justice.
Some of the suspects when probed by journalists said the Senate president had no connection with the operation in any way. They however confessed to be part of his political movement and a follower.
The police said it is closing in on another key suspect who is still at large
