The Imo State Government has announced that the two Craneburg contractors who were kidnapped on December 9, 2022, along Okigwe Road in the state, have been freed.
The state said the combined efforts of security forces allowed the kidnap victims to reclaim their freedom in a brief statement on Monday.
“The victims were presented to Governor Hope Uzodimma this morning at the State Government House, Owerri.
“The state government is leaving no stone unturned in securing the lives and properties of Imo citizens,” the statement read in part.”
