Many people have paid tribute to the actress’ mother on social media.
Funke Akindele’s mother, Nollywood actress and producer Funke Akindele, has died.
Funke’s sister, Olubunmi Akindele, announced his death in a statement on Tuesday.
“It is with heavy hearts, but total submission to God Almighty, that the ADEBANJO and AKINDELE families announce the passing of their daughter, mother, grandmother, and sister, DR. R B ADEBANJO-Akindele, which occurred on Tuesday 07 February 2023,” the statement said. May her gentle soul rest in eternal peace. Amen. Obsequies in her memory will be announced in due course.”
