POOR TURNOUT IN PARTS OF IBADAN AS RESIDENTS VOTE IN GOVERNORSHIP AND STATE ASSEMBLY

Read Time:37 Second

There are reports of poor voter turnout in some parts of Ibadan, the Oyo State capita; as residents vote to elect who governs the state for the next four years.

At Alexandra, Apata, Open Space, Opposite Yembtol Filling Station, only one voter was present unlike the presidential elections when turnout was remarkably higher.

Ikolaba Grammar School, the voter turnout was also poor.

At PU16, Ward 9, Peoples Primary School, Adeoyo, Ring-Road; the school was not its usual self in times of elections as only a few voters could be seen unlike during past elections.

Just close-by at the Ansarudeen Polling Unit, Ward 10, Ososami; the voting process was going on smoothly but the turn-out was low.

More updates shortly.
