Mohammad Umar Bago of the All Progressives Congress has been declared winner of the March 18 2023 governorship election in Niger State by Independent National Electoral Commission.
Bago garnered 469,896 votes to defeat his closest rival, Alhaji Liman Isah Kantigi of the People’s Democratic Party who garnered 387,476 votes while Labour Party candidate, Joshua Bawa got 3,415 votes.
