CRIME: POLICE ARREST MECHANIC WHILE SELLING CUSTOMER’S CAR IN PARTS
Adedamola Oluwaseyi “m,” a 25-year-old mechanic from Ladipo, Mushin, has been taken into custody by Lagos State Police Command agents while they were dismantling and auctioning off the individual’s car in pieces.
This was made mention in a statement by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin on Monday.
He stated that officers from the Mushin Division swiftly mobilized to the area after receiving reliable information, which led to the arrest.
An unregistered red Toyota Camry was recovered from the suspect. The brain box, the engine, and the two front tyres were also missing from the car.
After receiving the car from the owner for repairs, it was discovered via further inquiry that the mechanic went to Ladipo Spare Parts Market to sell the car in parts.
The suspect will be charged after the investigations are complete.
