All of the Rivers State governor’s expenses have been suspended until Governor Siminalayi Fubara presents his budget to the House, which is led by Representative Martin Amaewhule.
This comes after the MPs handed the governor a seven-day ultimatum to come before the House with his budget.
Major Jack, the House Leader, made a motion to notify the House that the governor had seven days to submit the 2024 budget to the House before it expired.
