Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, paid tribute to his late son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, by wearing custom cufflinks bearing the boy’s picture during his white wedding to long-time partner, Chioma Rowland, in Miami, United States.
The singer shared a photo of the cufflinks on his Instagram story on Sunday, as festivities continued for the high-profile celebration.
The white wedding, which followed a traditional ceremony held in 2024, attracted prominent figures from Nigeria’s business, political, and entertainment circles. Notable music stars, including Adekunle Gold, Teni, and Zlatan Ibile, attended both the wedding and the couple’s pre-wedding dinner.
Davido disclosed that the lavish event cost a total of $3.7 million, stating, “We spent $3.7m in cash. You should know what we are doing. It’s crazy.”
