Senator Ned Nwoko has addressed the situation following a widely circulated video that depicted his spouse, actress Regina Daniels, in a state of distress, characterizing her recent behaviors as “substance-influenced” and “unprovoked violence. ”

In an extensive statement accompanied by a brief video posted on his Instagram account princenednwoko on Sunday, Nwoko asserted that the actress is grappling with substance and alcohol dependency, which he identified as the fundamental issue affecting their marriage.

“Regina was not always like this. Her ongoing struggle with substance and alcohol dependency is the source of our predicament.

“She must persist with her rehabilitation program, or I fear for her life and security,” he remarked.

Nwoko indicated that he had presented his wife with two rehabilitation alternatives located in Asokoro or Jordan, “where she will not have access to intoxicants. ”

He additionally claimed that the disorder at home had been exacerbated by the involvement of Regina’s acquaintances, whom he referred to as “drug distributors. ”

“While I transported Moon to the medical facility, a tumultuous scene unfolded at home, orchestrated by Sammy, Regina’s primary drug distributor.

“Another notorious supplier of narcotics to Regina is the diminutive malevolent figure known as Ann,” he alleged.

His remarks followed shortly after PUNCH Online reported that a video featuring the actress, clearly agitated and shouting during an altercation, had gone viral on Saturday, eliciting widespread concern.

In the recorded material, Regina could be heard expressing, “In Ned Nwoko’s residence, I am insignificant, but in my own home, I reign as a Queen. Enough is enough. I cannot endure the violence; it’s excessive. ”

Her sibling, Ojeogwu Samuel Danhillman, more commonly recognized as Sammy West, also responded vehemently on Instagram, accusing Nwoko of assaulting his sister and pledging to protect her.

“Anywhere a man assaults a woman, whether she is my sister or not, I will fight alongside my blood,” he wrote.

The underlying reasons for the confrontation remain ambiguous, as neither Regina nor her representatives have publicly addressed Nwoko’s accusations.

Regina Daniels, who wed Nwoko in 2019, has frequently been in the public spotlight alongside the politician and businessman.
