VIDEO: SWEET MOMENT IYABO OJO WELCOMES PRISCILLA, JUMA JUX, AND SON HOME TO NIGERIA

Priscilla Ojo, the daughter of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, and her spouse, Tanzanian musician Juma Jux, have returned to Nigeria with their infant son, Rakeem. The family’s homecoming was celebrated with a lavish event organized by Iyabo Ojo, which included traditional drummers, singing, and dancing.

In a video posted on Iyabo Ojo’s Instagram on Tuesday, captioned “Welcome to Nigeria rakeem_mk,” friends and relatives convened to greet the couple. Priscilla, clearly emotional, expressed surprise as she entered the celebratory environment, while Juma Jux proudly held baby Rakeem.

Participating in the festivities, entrepreneur and Priscilla’s godmother, Chioma Ikokwu, widely known as Chioma GoodHair, commented on the post, “My prince is here. ”

She also disclosed in her Instagram story that Priscilla had called her from the United States to convey the news, stating, “Priscilla called me in America and said, ‘Godmama, I’m bringing your godson to you in Lagos,’ and I responded affirmatively!

This homecoming follows an extravagant 40-day celebration and naming ceremony for baby Rakeem that took place earlier this month in Tanzania. The couple, radiating joy, were captured in videos warmly welcoming guests while Juma danced energetically to the rhythm of traditional drums.

Priscilla shared clips of their journey from Tanzania to Nigeria on her Instagram story, expressing gratitude to her mother and godmother. “Rakeem is fortunate. Thank you, Glamma and Godmother iyaboojofespris and chiomagoodhair,” she wrote.

According to the media, Priscilla Ojo gave birth to her son in Canada on August 24, 2025. Subsequently, she returned to Tanzania, where her husband, Juma Jux, organized a grand reception in their honor.

The Lagos celebration signifies baby Rakeem’s first visit to Nigeria, a moment infused with music, affection, and family joy.
