Former Super Eagles striker Odion Ighalo has highlighted the qualities that set Victor Osimhen apart from Akor Adams.
Both forwards played key roles for Nigeria in their 4-0 Round of 16 victory over Mozambique at the ongoing AFCON in Morocco on Monday.
Despite their shared success, Ighalo emphasized that Osimhen’s style makes him distinct.
Speaking to SuperSport, the former Manchester United striker said, “Not every striker has speed. Victor is a different kind of striker compared to Akor. He likes to keep the ball, bully, and fight. If you watch the game against Mozambique, every time he has the chance, he fights for the ball and goes for the shot.”
