AFCON: FOUR SUPER EAGLES STARS MAKE TOP 10 PLAYER RANKINGS

Four Super Eagles stars—Ademola Lookman, Victor Osimhen, Akor Adams, and Wilfred Ndidi—have been ranked among the top ten performers at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament in Morocco.

The recognition comes ahead of the AFCON quarter-final fixtures, which begin on Friday.

According to football statistics platform WhoScored, Lookman currently leads the AFCON best players’ ratings chart with an impressive score of 8.81.

Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman tops the AFCON player ratings with an impressive 8.81, ahead of Egypt captain Mohamed Salah, who sits in second place with a rating of 8.23.

Senegal striker Sadio Mane is third with a 7.82 rating, while Nigeria’s Victor Osimhen ranks fourth on 7.61. Nigeria’s Akor Adams is fifth with a 7.59 rating, followed closely by Nigeria captain Wilfred Ndidi in sixth, who shares the same score.

Rounding out the top ten are Ivory Coast’s Yan Diomande in seventh with 7.58, Algeria captain Riyad Mahrez in eighth on 7.55, Ivory Coast’s Amad Diallo in ninth with 7.54, and Morocco’s Brahim Diaz in tenth, also with 7.54.
