VIDEO: IKOSI-ISHERI MAYORESS SUPPORTS INJURED POLICE OFFICER WITH MEDICAL ASSISTANCE

The Mayoress of Ikosi-Isheri Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Princess Samiat Abolanle Bada (MNIM), has extended financial support to an injured police officer of the Ketu Police Division, ASP Alofe Abiodun, who sustained a fractured leg while on duty.

Princess Bada paid a visit to the officer at the hospital on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, where he is currently receiving treatment following injuries sustained during an operation against miscreants.

During the visit, the Mayoress presented a payment cheque to assist with the officer’s medical care and recovery, reaffirming her administration’s commitment to the welfare and wellbeing of security personnel serving within the council area.

She commended the bravery and dedication of officers who put their lives on the line to ensure public safety, stressing the importance of supporting them, especially when injured in the course of duty.

The Mayoress was received by the Area H Police Commander, ACP Shola Abiola Omilade, who expressed appreciation for the kind gesture and described it as a morale booster for officers of the Nigeria Police Force.

The visit underscores the Ikosi-Isheri LCDA administration’s continued collaboration with security agencies and its resolve to promote the welfare of those responsible for maintaining law and order in the area.
