RENOWNED ZARIA ISLAMIC CLERIC SHEIKH USMAN “RIGI-RIGI” IDRIS DIES AT 57

A prominent Islamic cleric in Zaria, Sheikh Usman Idris, popularly known as “Rigi-Rigi,” has passed away at the age of 57.
The cleric’s senior disciple, Malam Nasiruddeen Umar (Baharu), told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday that Sheikh Usman Kusfa died in the early hours at a private hospital in Kaduna after battling an illness for several months.
Sheikh Kusfa was widely known for his Islamic teachings and had gained significant popularity on TikTok and other social media platforms.
He is survived by four wives, 37 children, and numerous grandchildren.
The funeral prayer for the cleric is scheduled to hold in Kusfa, Zaria City, at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Umar added.
