Nigerian singers Tems and Burna Boy have surpassed South African band Seether to become the African artists with the most entries on the Billboard U.S. Hot 100.
Previously tied with Seether at seven entries each, the Nigerian duo added new chart appearances this week through features on J. Cole’s album The Fall-Off.
“Bounce Road Blues,” featuring Tems and Future, debuted at number 34, while “Only You,” featuring Burna Boy, entered at 78, bringing their combined total to eight entries — the highest ever for any African artists.
Tems has now secured three Billboard Hot 100 entries in 2026 with Raindance (with Dave), What You Need, and the latest, Bounce Road Blues.
She currently holds the record for the most Billboard Hot 100 entries by any African artist this year.
Meanwhile, Burna Boy has become the first African artist to feature on the Billboard Hot 100 for six consecutive years.
His charted songs over the years include Loved By You (2021), Last Last (2022), Sittin’ On Top Of The World and Talibans II (2023), Just Like Me and We Pray (2024), WGFT (2025), and Only You (2026).
