APC SCREENING COMMITEE APPROVES HAMZAT FOR LAGOS GOVERNORSHIP RACE

The deputy governor of Lagos State has said he will appear before the All Progressives Congress Governorship Screening Committee in Abuja, which is taking place before the party‘s next primary elections.
In a post shared on X on Saturday, he stated: “Today in Abuja, I appeared before the APC Governorship Screening Committee ahead of our party primaries.
“I am grateful for the clean bill of approval and clearance to move forward.”
The screening that took place in Abuja is part of internal party procedures ahead of the governorship selection process.
The Deputy Governor further described the development as part of a broader political and governance journey focused on Lagos State.
“This journey is about service and a commitment to all Lagosians.
“We have built a solid foundation and now we are ready to take the next step toward a greater and more inclusive Lagos,” the post further read.
He concluded his statement with a reaffirmation of continued engagement and political readiness.
Hamzat noted, “The work continues and I am ready to keep moving forward with you.”
