BENDEL INSURANCE, LOBI STARS LEAD TABLE AS NPFL SEASON BREAKS IN HALF

Following the final round of games of the first half of the 2022/2023 NPFL season, Bendel Insurance and Lobi Stars are in first place in their respective groups.
Bendel Insurance leads group A with 23 points after an unbeaten run of seven victories and two draws in nine games. With 16 pointsĀ and 15 points, Enyimba and Akwa Ibom United are in second and third place respectively.
Pleateau United edgeĀ Remo Stars forĀ fourth place with 14 points, while Gombe and Shooting Stars are in sixth and seventh place with 10 points each after the former edgesĀ the latter on goal difference.
Lobi Stars are in first place in Group B with 19 points after winning six of their nine games, losing twice, and drawing once.
Sunshine Stars are in second place, and AbiaĀ Warriors are in third place with one game to spear.
Rivers United haveĀ only played six of the first half of the season’s nine games, yet they still managed to finish fourth with 13 points.
