Photos of New Mr Universe Nigeria Winner – Rasheed Adegoke Kolade
On October 15th 2017 at the Germaine Auto and Axe Nigeria sponsored MENS FASHION WEEK NIGERIA, which also witnessed the finale of this year’s MR UNIVERSE NIGERIA pageant, it was 6.1ft tall Banking and Finance Crawford University graduate, Kolade Adegoke Rasheed who walked away as the new Mr Universe Nigeria 2017/018.
Rasheed who hails from Abeokuta in Ogun state beat 16 other hopefuls to emerge the new winner in a celebrity studded show which included Richard Mofe Damijo, Mai Atafo, Vimbai Mutinhiri, Lamboghini, Jon Ogah, Soma, Juliet Ibrahim, Ono Bello, Joan Okorodudu, Frank Oshodi, Pela, Mueyiwa Omatsola, Francis Beacon, Marcus Pius, Kennedy Mgboji, Tracy Ishmael, Ariya Ticket CEO and a host of others.
From the international scene, in attendance included – Palse, Abbas Kajuika, Moshions, Quophi Akotuah, Abrantie the Gentleman, (Int’l designers from South Africa, Uganda, Rwanda, Ghana respectively); and Nigeria’s renowned designers – Stave Ray, Chike Mordi.
The show was hosted by Denrele Edun.
Performance was by Linda Ikeji Music Artist, Val Obil and Pentagon Dance Company.
1st Runner up from the night was Victor Inyang (Mr Unverse Tourism), 2nd runner up – Joel Okoye ( Mr Universe Culture) and 3rd runner up – Tejiri Oforbrukueta (Mr Universe Top Model).
Rasheed Adegoke Kolade is an emerging fashion designer and creatve director for Walker Designs.
