DELTA SDP GOV CANDIDATE HEADS TO SUPREME COURT
The Social Democratic Party’s governorship candidate in Delta State in the March 18, 2023 election, Kenneth Gbag,i has expressed dissatisfaction with the judgment of the Court of Appeal just as he announced his decision to proceed to the Supreme Court to seek justice in the matter.
Gbagi, a former Minister of State for Education, stated that the judgment was fundamentally flawed.
Speaking through his Chief Press Secretary, Orusi Kenneth, on Sunday, Gbagi rejected the judgment and urged all his supporters to remain steadfast, saying he has instructed his legal team to immediately activate his constitutionally guaranteed rights of appeal to the Supreme Court
The SDP candidate said the judgment was bereft of substantial justice.
He, however, said that the verdict of the court can never destroy his confidence in the judiciary.
He expressed faith that God would perfect his political pursuit in his own way and style.
