NPFL: DOGO RUES KWARA UNITED’S HOME DRAW AGAINST DOMA UTD
Kwara United head coach, Kabiru Dogo blamed Doma United’s time wasting antics for Wednesday’s stalemate in Ilorin.
The Harmony Boys were held to a 0-0 draw by the visitors.
Dogo said the result was a big setback for his side.
“The referee, I think, was too lenient with the visitors despite wasting too much time. In the first half alone, we played less that 30 minutes, as their players were falling all around the field. That’s negative football.
“And again, the pitch is not smooth enough for us to fully execute our well known philosophy, but we will continue to work hard to achieve the set objectives for the season.”
Kwara United are unbeaten in their last five NPFL games.
The Ilorin club will host Niger Tonardoes in their next game.
