LIVERPOOL’S LATE SHOW STUN ARSENAL IN FA CUP THIRD ROUND
….As Arsenal wasted couple of chances to grab the win at Emirates Stadium
At the Emirates Stadium, Jurgen Klopp’s team rode their luck for extended periods of time while Arsenal missed several opportunities to grab the lead.
With ten minutes remaining, Gunners defender Jakub Kiwior headed Trent Alexander-Arnold’s free-kick into his own net. Luis Diaz then completed the smash-and-grab raid in stoppage time.
However, Arsenal dominated the first half since Virgil Van Dijk, the injured center defender for Liverpool, was not present.
The Gunners should have been rewarded for their strong start by Martin Odegaard, but the midfielder missed the target with a 12-yard blast.

Ben White’s thundering drive from just inside the area required an excellent tip-over from Alisson Becker as Arteta’s team was tearing apart Liverpool at will.
When Havertz squandered two excellent chances in quick succession, Arteta had to have worried that Arsenal would suffer the consequences of their carelessness.
As Bukayo Saka volleyed over from a perilous position and Alisson made a fingertip stop from Kai Havertz’s deflected cross, Arteta hung his head in fury.
When Liverpool did start to play, Ramsdale made a great stop on Luis Diaz’s snap shot, and Diogo Jota struck the woodwork.
Alexander-Arnold’s corner was headed into his own net by Kiwior in the 80th minute, and Diaz’s 10-yard strike from distance after Jota’s ball in stoppage time completed the victory.
