CONTRACTOR OFFERS RAMS AS SACRIFICE AS THIRD MAINLAND BRIDGE REPAIRS COMMENCE (VIDEO)
By Ajape Sefiu A.
The third mainland bridge is undergoing extensive reconstruction by the Federal Government, which will include patching potholes and ramps, among other things.
It was reported that sections of the renovation, which is already under way, will be off-limits to traffic while repairs are made.
However, a video circulating on social media captured contractors offering rams as a sacrifice before the commencement of the comprehensive rehabilitation of the third mainland bridge, which is going to last for weeks.
According to the Federal Government, the bridge will be completely renovated and split into two sections, with each section receiving renovations for roughly eight weeks in order to improve vehicle mobility.
Meanwhile, in order to reduce inconvenience during the repair period, drivers are encouraged to comply with traffic management officials, with numerous signposts placed at crucial locations.
