WE’VE TO LEARN TO PLAY WITHOUT MBAPPE – PSG BOSS, ENRIQUE
Paris Saint-Germain manager, Luis Enrique, has said the team needs to prepare for Kylian Mbappé’s expected departure this summer.
In the 65th minute of their Sunday 1-1 draw with Rennes, Enrique substituted Mbappe.
The Ligue 1 winners were down 1-0 at home when he was replaced.
Mbappe was replaced by Gonçalo Ramos, who eventually netted the equalizer from the penalty spot in the 97th minute.
“It’s very simple: Sooner or later when it happens, we have to get used to playing without Kylian.
“When I want to play him, I will, when I don’t, I won’t,” Enrique replied when asked about the decision after the game.
Mbappe has informed PSG that he will leave when his current deal expires at the end of this season and the Frenchman is widely expected to sign for Real Madrid.
