
PETROL TANKER KILLS WOMAN, CHILD IN DELTA
A speeding petrol tanker reportedly lost control due to brake failure and veered off the road in Delta State, killing a woman and her child. The incident occurred yesterday evening along Ubeji/Egbokodo Road near Ayiri Junction as the woman was returning from picking up her child from school. Several others were injured, and properties worth millions of naira were destroyed.
When contacted for comments, Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe confirmed the report in a telephone chat with our correspondent in Warri.
The Police image maker explained: “only two deaths; others are receiving treatment.”
