
FEDERAL HIGH COURT GRANTS EeZeeTee BAIL SET AT N20MILLION

Justice Chukwujekwu Aneke of the Federal High Court in Lagos has granted music producer and former manager of Mercy Chinwo, Ezekiel Onyedikachi (aka EeZeeTee), N20 million bail over a new $255,000 alleged forex fraud case filed by the EFCC.

The EFCC initially filed a 14-count charge against EeZeeTee for alleged fraud but later reduced it to seven counts, accusing him of unauthorized foreign exchange dealings. Prosecutors claim he conducted a $52,895 transaction in June 2023 without Central Bank of Nigeria approval, violating the Foreign Exchange Act. EeZeeTee pleaded not guilty, and the trial is set for June 20, 2025.
