BENUE HEAD OF SERVICE, DR AGBOGBO ODE DIES

The Benue State Government has shared the sad news of the passing of Dr. Agbogbo Ode, who was the Head of Service. He died on Saturday, 2nd May, 2026, after a short illness.
This information was given in a statement released by Deborah Aber, the Secretary to the State Government, on Saturday.
The statement said, “We are very sad and regretful to inform you of the death of Dr. Agbogbo Ode, the Head of Service of Benue State.
His sudden passing happened on Saturday, 2nd May, 2026, following a brief illness.”
The government called Dr. Ode a very important person in the state’s civil service, praising his work, skills, and the good things he did.
It also said, “His trustworthy and reliable leadership in public service, along with his hard work, smart thinking, and big contributions to the State Civil Service will be greatly missed.”
Deborah Aber also said Dr. Ode was “a very honest technocrat and a highly respected leader in public service.”
She offered sympathy to Dr. Ode’s family, his coworkers, and everyone else in the civil service, calling his death a big loss for Benue State.
