PSG THRASH REAL MADRID 4-0 TO REACH CLUB WORLD CUP FINAL AGAINST CHELSEA

Paris Saint-Germain have booked their place in the FIFA Club World Cup final with a dominant 4-0 victory over Real Madrid at the MetLife Stadium, ending Xabi Alonso’s unbeaten start as Los Blancos manager after just six games.
Despite playing in front of a pro-Madrid crowd, PSG silenced their critics with a ruthless performance, scoring twice within the opening nine minutes following defensive blunders from the Spanish side.
Ousmane Dembele capitalised on Raul Asencio’s error to win possession and was brought down by goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois. Fabian Ruiz was on hand to fire home the rebound, putting PSG in front. Just three minutes later, Antonio Rudiger’s misjudged pass gifted Dembele the chance to score PSG’s second, which he calmly converted with a clinical finish.
The French champions continued to dominate as Achraf Hakimi narrowly missed from distance before setting up Ruiz for his second goal of the evening, capping off a dazzling team move to make it 3-0.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia nearly added a fourth before halftime, but his low shot drifted just wide. Real Madrid showed brief signs of improvement after the restart, but a marginal offside decision denied Desire Doue a goal early in the second half.
Kylian Mbappe, facing his former club for the first time, was largely quiet and missed a long-range effort. PSG remained relentless, with Goncalo Ramos narrowly off target after being played in by Hakimi.
Real Madrid’s hopes of a late consolation were dashed when Bradley Barcola danced through the defence and set up Ramos, who sealed the win with a composed finish past Courtois in the dying minutes.
Luis Enrique’s side have now recorded five consecutive clean sheets in knockout matches across all competitions and will face Chelsea in Sunday’s final of the newly revamped Club World Cup.
Based on this emphatic showing, PSG will enter the final as strong favourites to lift the inaugural title.
