POLICE ARREST FOUR SUSPECTED DRUG DEALERS IN UYO

The Akwa Ibom State Police Command has arrested four suspected illicit drug dealers during a raid in Uyo.
The command’s spokesperson, Timfon John, disclosed this in a statement on Sunday, noting that the suspects were apprehended following a coordinated operation carried out around 10 p.m. on August 18.
According to the statement, operatives stormed several black spots in Uyo based on credible intelligence, leading to the arrest of four male suspects. A large quantity of substances suspected to be Indian hemp and other illicit drugs was also recovered.
John added that investigations are ongoing, after which the suspects will be prosecuted.
